highlights
All-American SuperCars teamed up with Vortech Engineering and debuted this Vortech Edition Mustang at the 2006 SEMA show. This was a first in Vortech’s history in which it has permitted a specialty-car manufacturer to use the Vortech name as a benchmark for creating a car. This was also the first production unit of the new "V-Power by Vortech" supercharger. One of only 100 examples being sold through select Ford dealers. This vehicle is heavily customized both inside and out.

2007 All-American Supercars (ACS) Vortech Edition Ford Mustang
ASC stuffed one of Vortech's V-2 SQ Si-Trim centrifugal blowers to the intake manifold. The intake charge is chilled thanks to the air-to-water charge cooler that accompanies the blower. Packing 8 pounds of boost, the car makes 515 hp. ASC also installed JBA shorty headers and a JBA axel-back system. Keeping the system cool is a LFP radiator and a SPEC flywheel and clutch to reinforce the factory five-speed manual transmission.
Allowing the car to stay a grounded are Ford Racing Performance Parts springs, shocks, and sway bars, along with BMR lower control arms and an adjust-able Panhard rod. The car is also fitted with Baer GT-Plus front and Eradispeed rear brakes.
The car’s exterior features a custom paint job by California Custom, a 3dCarbon spoiler and front splitter were also installed. Inside, 3dCarbon aluminum door sills and speaker covers give the cabin some bling, while a triple set of Stewart Warner gauges grace the top of the dashboard. Katzkin custom-wrapped the front and rear seats in blue and silver leather before stitching the Vortech logo on the seat backs of the front buckets.
The door panels would not go untouched either, as ASC created a pair of custom blue-accented door panels showcasing the company's name embroidered in them. Adding individuality to each car is a numbered dashplate. Finalizing the killer good looks of this all-American beauty is the rolling stock, which consists of 20x8 front and 20x10 rear Boss Motorsports 336 wheels.
heritage
The fifth-generation Ford Mustang (S197) is a pony car that was manufactured by Ford from 2004 to 2014, at the Flat Rock Assembly Plant in Flat Rock, Michigan. Originally designed by Sid Ramnarace through late 2001 and finalized in mid-2002, the fifth-generation Mustang's design was previewed by two pre-production concept cars that debuted at the 2003 North American International Auto Show. The modern yet retro styling pays homage to the iconic looks of its ancestors.
