Dodge ended up going all out, they skipped the base model and went straight to the performance line. Each one was kitted out with a healthy 6.1-liter Hemi V-8 producing 425 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque. Bringing the car to a halt are Brembo four-piston calipers and keeping the car tight in the twisties are Bilstein monotube shocks on all four corners as well as anti-roll bars at both ends.

They back up their muscle car looks with impressive performance that includes a 0 - 60 in the low five second range and a ¼ mile time under 14 seconds. Not bad for a 4,150 lb beast!
This car is a joy to drive, the Hemi’s exhaust note provides a throbbing reminder of the muscle-car music we are all so attached to. The Challenger SRT8 is a modern retro homage to the classic that still stands the test of time.

This story began in snowy old Detroit at the '06 North American International Auto Show. Chrysler introduced its Challenger Concept to the the assembled mob at Cobo Hall and coyly asked, "Hey, think we ought to build some of these?" Needless to say, the crowd went mad for the new/old unit. Fast-forward to 2008 and the retro-futuristic Challenger went into production. Dodge dealers officially started taking deposits early in December, racking up over 4,300 confirmed orders on the first day. While the Challenger came to the ponycar/musclecar wars a little late in 1970, it was always regarded as one of the sharpest-looking of the bunch with its clean, distinctive lines. And with the optional 426 Street Hemi, it was one of the hairiest performers of the era, too. Clearly an encore was justified.

The interior shows very minimal wear. There are no obvious blemishes on the seats, dash or carpet. Overall, it’s in great condition.

The exterior is in great condition since the car has been always been garaged and covered. The only blemish worth noting is the small dent on the driver side front panel near the hood, shown in images.

The vehicle has a clean CARFAX, and the tires were just replaced with Goodyear Eagle tires.The only non Mopar item is a Napa Legend battery.
