2009/1962 Chevrolet Corvette

T-5R don't hit the market very often. When they emerge they tend to be garage queens or clapped-out daily drivers.

Click the link to see a letter from the owner of CRC outlining the cars history and explaining the car's reconstructed title status.

The car features an original drivetrain, LS3, transmission, interior, instrumentation, convertible top, factory front & side airbags and front & rear crash protection. The car is an absolute blast to drive, and the handling is tight. Once you fire up the car you’re greeted with the iconic rumble of the V8 and the exhaust note isn’t overbearing at higher RPMs. Flipping through the paddle shifters brings a grin on your face and as the current owner puts it, “this car is a head turner and it constantly gets looks. People want to know the story behind the car, where it's from and who built it.” Golfers will be happy to know that an entire golf bag fits in the trunk.

This two owner car was one of the first CRC Retro’s built, and was taken to car shows to promote the builder. The owner of CRC retired and sold the vehicle to a friend of the current owner who has only put 9,000 miles on the car. The vehicle has always been stored in a climate controlled garage and currently has 13,000 miles on it.

This car was built on a salvage title C6 Corvette. According to the seller, CRC found a donor car with just 2,300 miles; it had been involved in an accident that resulted in a bent frame. They moved the engine, transmission and all the running gear onto a new frame, making sure the underpinning of this car met their high standards. The Seller notes it's been incredibly reliable and a perfect weekend cruiser.  When it comes time for service a local Chevy dealership can run the diagnostics and handle much of the maintenance. Speaking of service, the car has been taken in every year since ownership in 2009. A Mobil 1 full synthetic oil change was just done last year as well as a full inspection. A new battery was installed this past summer.

What if you could have the classic lines and styling of a 1962 Corvette along with the reliability, power and modern amenities of a C6 Corvette? Enter the Classic Reflection Coachwork Retro Corvette. This ‘65 CRC Corvette features hand-made carbon fiber paneling built on a C6 frame. Clad in a proprietary carbon fiber body that was engineered to resemble a 1962 on a low mileage C6 Corvette chassis, this car is a head turner with the performance to back it up.

The legendary 6.2 liter LS3 V8 engine pushes out 430 hp and 424 lb-ft of torque.

Classic Reflection Coachworks features chrome brightwork, quad headlights, side coves, rocker moldings, a black power-retractable cloth top, and two pairs of polished exhaust outlets.

The two-seat C8 cockpit is equipped with power-adjustable two-tone black and grey leather bucket seats. Carbon fiber trim coordinates with the door panels, dash, and center console. Amenities include dual-zone automatic climate control, a navigation and media center, a head-up display, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, power windows, power door locks, and cruise control.

Known around the world as America’s sports car, the Corvette exemplifies the definition of innovation. The Corvette is the world’s longest-running, continuously produced passenger car. When the first Corvette rolled off the line over 60 years ago, it was born an icon.

Interior of the car is excellent and everything is functional.

Small areas of wear and tear are present but nothing major.

Surface mark on the carbon fiber center console.

Dent and mark next to door lock button on driver side, mark on speaker.

Exterior of car is very clean, soft top roof is in great shape with no fading or tears. All exterior lights are functional.

Engine bay looks moderately clean, no cracked plastic.

Up close up. Car looks fantastic!

The front hood does technically open as a traditional Corvette, however on this vehicle the entire top pivots not the false square you see on the hood.

The soft top is still in great shape, no sun fading.

All lights on car work

Engine bay looks moderately clean, no cracked plastic.

Note the air filter is attached to the hood and there is 2 of them..

Interior of car is a 8/10 no major scars could use a good cleaning

Stitching is all intact no frayed pieces

No Spare tire included with the car, no curb rash. Lots of brake life left.

Included in Images. Tires may need to be changed soon. They look like a semi slick racing or track specific tire.
